China Southern Airlines
One of China's top three airline companies, along with China Eastern Airlines and Air China , China Southern Airlines operates a fleet of more than 300 aircraft (mainly Boeing and Airbus jets) from its hub in Guangzhou and about 20 regional bases. It serves about 150 destinations, including about 120 throughout China and about 30 in other countries, primarily in the Asia/Pacific region. Government-owned China Southern Air Holding Company owns just over 50% of China Southern Airlines.
China Eastern Airlines
One of China 's three largest airline companies (along with Air China and China Southern Airlines ), China Eastern Airlines transports passengers and cargo to about 135 destinations in China and another 40-plus destinations in more than 15 other countries. The carrier operates a fleet of more than 200 aircraft, including Airbus and Boeing models, from its hub in Shanghai (in eastern China ) and from hubs in northwestern and southwestern China . CEA Holding, a company owned by the Chinese government, controls a 62% stake in China Eastern Airlines.
Air China
A leading airline in the country with the world's largest population, Air China provides domestic and international passenger and cargo transportation. The company serves some 75 destinations in China and about 45 destinations in more than 20 other countries. Air China operates from hubs in Beijing and Shanghai and in the western Chinese city of Chengdu . The carrier maintains a fleet of about 210 aircraft, mainly Boeing models. It has code-sharing partnerships with All Nippon Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways , and UAL 's United Airlines, among others. The Chinese government, through China National Aviation Holding Company, controls a two-thirds stake in Air China .
Sichuan Airlines
The fleet consists of 22 modern aircraft, including A320 series and Emb-145 manufactured by Airbus industries and EMBRAER respectively. The company has opened more than 130 domestic routes that link some 40 cities forming an air transport network with a spread over 200,000 kilometers.
