Rara Lake has the distinction of being the largest lake in Nepal. The area surrounding the lake was declared a National Park in 1976 but despite that the lake still receives relatively few visitors, mainly due to its isolation.
Simikot
Simikot is located in far western Nepal , and is about as remote as you can get! Your trek will take you through a unique blend of Tibetan Buddhist and Nepali Gurung cultures.
